Can I bill fresh items and packed items together?
Yes. Tap fresh items like puffs and cake slices, and scan the barcode on packed biscuits or rusks, in the same bill.
How do I record a custom cake order with an advance?
Note the advance as other income when it is paid, and the balance when the cake is collected. Both count in that day's income.
Can I sell by weight, like sweets per kg?
Books does not connect to a weighing scale. Make products for the weights you usually sell, such as Sweets 250 g and Sweets 500 g.
Can I see which month was better?
With Books Pro, the yearly report shows every month side by side with the change from the month before.
Does it work on a laptop at the counter?
Yes, on any laptop browser, and on phones. The same shop opens on both.
